This is my first attempt at homemade Korean food.
- 2 cups mung bean sprouts
- water to cover
- 2 T chili paste
- toasted sesame seeds
- green onions
Put the sprouts in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, cook for two minutes. Drain.

They got greener as they cooked.

Step 2
Chop up the green onions and put them in a bowl.

Step 3
Add the sprouts and the chili paste to the green onions. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and stir.

I used this kind of chili paste, by the way.

Yummy!!
I eventually added just a little bit of soy sauce, too. It isn't exactly like the seasoned sprouts that I had at Uh Wool Lim, but it's an okay substitution for now. I'm pretty sure there was some type of vinegar in the restaurant version.
Enjoy!!
